My approach to most counseling issues is
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Applications, although I do tend to
rely heavily on Systems Theory. You
will periodically be asked to
complete homework assignments which
allow us to track progress in your daily
application of learned skills in your
life outside of the sessions. Developing
an ability to apply problem-solving
techniques on an ongoing basis is of
vital importance in my view.
Making Appointments:
I look forward to hearing from you to
discuss the details of setting up an
appointment. When you call you will
instantly be directed to multiple voice
mail prompts. Please feel free to leave
me a detailed message, as this is the
best way to reach me. When I am in the
office and in session, there is no
receptionist to take my calls. I
generally return calls within 24 hours. I do offer a free 15 minute phone
consultation to determine if my practice
is appropriate for your needs.
Sessions last 50 minutes. Please arrive
15 minutes early on your first visit to
complete initial paperwork. This
includes contact information,
demographics, and confidentiality in
treatment. Please bring your insurance
card and benefits information with you.
Payment is due when services are
rendered. Payment forms include cash, check,
debit,
Flexcard,
MasterCard and Visa.
Fees & Insurance:
I am an out-of-network provider for all
insurance companies, and I am on
multiple insurance provider panels. Please check with your insurance carrier
to determine my status on your plan.
In some cases an individual may need
counseling assistance, but may struggle
with the financial component. Please contact me and we can discuss
your individual situation.
